Break from the Real World

I think it's ironic that MTV's The Real World has become the exact opposite of its namesake. It's so far from reality that it transports you from your reality to a place where all cognitive processes cease functioning. I was watching with my roommate today, and I commented to her that it's like getting a brain massage. And you know what? That's why I like it. Because sometimes, my brain needs a breather. Thank you, MTV . . . for a change.
